Tonight the semiannual Flaherty NYC series of innovative and groundbreaking films returns for its Winter/Spring 2019 season, "Puzzling," co-presented by Pioneer Works. The opening night program features a line-up of work by Aki Sasamoto, Fritz Heider & Marianne Simmel, Owen Land, Liz Magic Laser, Laure Prouvost, Vanessa Renwick, Jim Trainor, and Luzy Raven. Sasamoto and Liz Magic Laser (whose "The Thought Leader" is pictured above) will be in attendance for a discussion moderated by artist Alison S. M. Kobayashi.
