Monday, a (currently at-rush) sneak preview of Alain Guiraudie's new film, Misericordia, with the director in person, queer coming-of-age drama Young Hearts (repeats Wednesday), and Grand Theft Hamlet are at the Roxie, Marie Antoinette (2006) (repeats through Wednesday) and Lost Highway at the Alamo Drafthouse New Mission, The Incredible Melting Man (on 16mm) is at the Balboa, and Krzysztof Kieslowski's The Double Life of Veronique is at the New Parkway.

Tuesday, Girls Town (1996) and Noroi: The Curse are at the Drafthouse, a reprise of Mission Love Presents: Visions of Mission Mediarts, There is Another Way, and Lost Highway are at the Roxie, Phantom Thread is at the Balboa, and  the Orinda's monthly classic movie matinee is Strangers on a Train.

Wednesday, Todd Haynes' Carol (on what is, from what your friendly local Screen Slate editor understands, the one and only 35mm print of the film) is at BAMPFA, Lou Ye's latest, An Unfinished Film (repeats Sunday), gymnastics doc Qatar Stars, and Wild at Heart are at the Roxie, Scream (on 16mm) and A Raisin in the Sun at the Balboa, Barry Lyndon (repeats Thursday) is at the Vogue, early cinema subject and dancer Loïe Fuller doc Obsessed with Light is at the 4 Star, and Leprechaun is at the New Parkway.

Thursday, Berlin & Beyond festival brings its annual selection of contemporary German films to the Roxie, running through Saturday, the Stanford's latest series continues with a week of Rouben Mamoulian films, starting with City Streets and Applause (on 35mm, repeats Friday), Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is at the Balboa, Amarcord (repeats Saturday) at the 4 Star, Ghost in the Shell at the New Parkway, and Stripped for Parts at the Orinda.

Friday, Play It As It Lays (repeats Saturday) and Mulholland Dr. (repeats through Sunday) at the Drafthouse, In Spring, our feature this week, continues BAMPFA's Ukrainian Cinema series, Andrea Arnold's Bird screens at the PROXY outdoor cinema, The Fifth Element is at the Balboa, where the Unnamed Footage festival also kicks off, the Rialto Cerrito begins a David Lynch memorial retrospective, and Canyon Cinema holds a benefit for the LA Mutual Aid Network.

Saturday, BAMPFA has the Mai Zetterling-starring Sunshine Follows Rain continuing their series on the Swedish multi-hyphenate and Haynes' Wonderstruck, a Bruce Lee double of Enter the Dragon and Fists of Fury is at the Balboa,  Porco Rosso (repeats Sunday) is at the 4 Star, the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum presents Moulin Rouge (1928), the Stanford's Rouben Mamoulien double features continue with The Mark of Zorro and Blood and Sand, and Other Cinema brings Shu Lea Cheang's UKI back to the Bay.

Sunday, Canyon Cinema and SF Cinematheque present Lynn Marie Kirby: the insufficient frame with Kirby in person at the Roxie, Inland Empire is at the Drafthouse, BAMPFA screens Ukrainian film At Great Cost and the next film in this year's African Film Festival, XaléDouble Indemnity is at the Balboa, Bob Fosse's Sweet Charity is at the Lark, and Berlin & Beyond moves east to the Rialto Elmwood.
