Animal Farm, Metrograph’s curated menagerie of cinematic creatures from all over creation, marches on with an infestation of movies featuring our six-legged friends from the family Formicidae: that is to say, the humble, industrious ant. From would-be world conquers (Them!; Empire of the Ants) to neurotic worker ants unlucky in love (Antz) to just plain old ordinary ants seen through the extraordinary medium of microphotography (Microcosmos), for the run of this series, Metrograph is going to be swarming with them. (Not literally. We’re quite tidy.)
