From the 1960s to the present day, Robert De Niro has remained one of Hollywood’s most prolific and versatile actors. Over the years his characters have frightened us, made us laugh, made us cry and sometimes all within the same film! No matter the role, De Niro always approaches his work with a sense of empathy and surprise, which have been keys to his long and successful career. On the eve of what will surely be his 9th Oscar nomination, we take a look back at some of the selected works of Robert De Niro, including collaborations with Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Mann, Quintin Tarantino, Michael Cimino, and of course Martin Scorsese.
