This new series looks forward to some of the fall’s most exciting movies with a wide-ranging selection of classics that inspired them. Chosen by the directors of four eagerly awaited upcoming Netflix movies--Noah Baumbach (White Noise), Margaret Brown (Descendant), Scott Cooper (The Pale Blue Eye), and Rian Johnson (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery)--these great films were a source of inspiration for the directors who picked them. All of the new movies will be coming to the Paris in the months ahead. Below, the directors explain their choices.
