For the inaugural International Production Design Week, an annual celebration of the designer’s art in film, stage, and other media, Metrograph is proud to act as the New York City location for the event’s worldwide activities, welcoming members of the Production Designers Collective to our cinemas for screenings that spotlight the invaluable world-building work done by these artists. We will be joined by top production designers Kristie Zea (Silence of the Lambs, Goodfellas) and Mark Friedberg (Joker, Synecdoche, New York) as they introduce these key films in their bodies of work, and shed light on the nature of their essential work in overseeing every aspect of crafting a movie’s distinctive visual identity.
