HitchQUADtober

Series Site

Just in time for spooky season, the Quad proudly presents a selection of films from the Master of Suspense. Alfred Hitchcock has given a generation of moviegoers some of the most nerve-wracking thrills in all of 20th century cinema. From Cary Grant running away from a crop duster in North by Northwest (1959) to Grace Kelly barely escaping an assassin’s clutches in Dial M for Murder (1954) to a carousel spinning out of control in the subversively homoerotic Strangers on a Train (1951), Hitchcock dodged the Hays Code with incredible finesse while also delivering unrivaled Hollywood entertainment.

Ahead of the U.S. release of the new Mark Cousins documentary, My Name is Alfred Hitchcock (a Cohen Media Group film), please join the Quad Cinema for an entire week of fiends and frights as we celebrate the one and only Alfred Hitchcock!

October 18-24.
