Late Rounds in July will have you cheering on the young ones as they combat malevolence, sometimes surrounded by heavy metal soundtracks, other times delivering a good kick in the nards. These movies are brimming with excellent practical effects, including crafty stop-motion animation, with iconic villains like the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm) in PHANTASM and a re-pairing of Wendy Robie and Everett McGill (once Nadine and Big Ed Hurley in TWIN PEAKS) as the sinister Robesons in THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS.
