MID-AUTUMN MOVIES

Series Site

A beloved annual tradition in countries all around the Asian Pacific rim, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration of harvest time that’s marked by the gathering of family and friends around the dinner table. To mark the occasion at Metrograph, we’re rolling out a program of pan-Asian movies chock full of festivity, food, and household drama, from the recent Korean American critical darling Minari to classics from Japan’s Yasujirō Ozu and Taiwan’s Ang Lee. An in-theater celebration for those spending the holiday with the family, seeking a balm for homesickness, or just looking to discover or revisit some top-drawer titles.
