The first ever STRATA GANZA comes to NYC for one week - October 3rd through the 6th at the Pratt Institute, Department of Digital Arts in Brooklyn.
Eight of the top Strata Cut Innovators bring their blades from around the world. They join forces for a chance to ‘Think Strata.’ This group will describe, share, make, show, and cut in eight different and distinct ways during this ‘shape over time teach-in spectacular.’
Each day will take place on the 4th floor of the DDA at Myrtle Hall. Sessions will be in the Gallery, Hall, and Stop Motion Studio rooms. Students and ticketed public will participate and see how shape-programmed clay works before we also help them to make their own first ‘time-sculptures’.
