Series Site

"To coincide with her performance Cinema in Song: A Concert with Jeanne Cherhal on May 25, FIAF invited the acclaimed French singer to curate the May CinéSalon film series. Her picks are profoundly eclectic and offer a diverse range of genres and styles, from comedy with Life is a Long Quiet River to the psychedelic drama Mulholland Drive and the tragic road trip Vagabond. The Piano and BPM (Beats Per Minute) complete the series.

"Cherhal has remarked that cinema and music are two art forms that are inseparable and generate the deepest emotions. Through her selection, she pays tribute to these films that have left an indelible mark on her life." —FIAF
