MUBI presents: Welcome to Queer Camp! We are excited for you to join us this summer and look forward to a month of fun screenings and special events, all centered around the art of Camp and its intersection with Queerness.
Activities will include drag performance (TO WONG FOO…, PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT), Queer Camp 101 (BABY JANE, ROCKY HORROR, SHOWGIRLS), a little bit of actual camping (BUT I’M A CHEERLEADER, SLEEPAWAY CAMP) and so much more! You may even be able to catch a seance of sorts while you’re here (HOLY TRINITY)!
Returning counselors include John Waters, Gregg Araki, Angela Robinson, and Miss Malice + Special Guests who will perform before a screening of MULTIPLE MANIACS!
(All screenings will include an optional donation ticket price with proceeds going toward the Ali Forney Center for LGBTQ Homeless Youth.)
