Monday, Mulholland Dr. (on 35mm, repeats Wednesday) is at the Roxie, The Brutalist (on 70mm) continues and Dinner in America screens at the Alamo Drafthouse New Mission, Frida is at the Balboa, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is at the Lark, Noir City continues at the Grand Lake with 99 River Street (on 35mm) and The Long Wait, and the Smith Rafael's For Your Consideration series of international Oscars contenders continues through Thursday.

Tuesday, a new restoration of Lino Brocka's Bona, Grand Theft Hamlet, MacGruber, and Disembodied (followed by a Q&A with co-star Hannah Davey) are at the Drafthouse, Vermiglio and From Ground Zero continue at the Roxie, Excalibur is at the Balboa, The New Parkway's Doc Night presents Skin of Glass, and Noir City presents Raw Deal and Mary Ryan, Detective at the Grand Lake.

Wednesday, Vera continues BAMPFA's Masc II: Mascs plus Muchachas series programmed by Jenni Olson, House is at the Balboa, Steel Magnolias (repeats Thursday) at the Vogue, Extremely Unique Dynamic is at the 4 Star, Johnny Mnemonic is at the New Parkway, and Noir City presents Detour and My True Story (on 35mm) at the Grand Lake.

Thursday, Soundtrack to a Coup d’État and Werner Herzog's Theater Of Thought continue at the Roxie, Hippo is at the Drafthouse, Small Soldiers is at the Balboa, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is at the 4 Star, The Count of Monte-Cristo (2024, repeats Thursday) and Grand Theft Hamlet are at the New Parkway, Noir City presents The Reckless Moment and Phantom Lady at the Grand Lake, the Stanford's Frank Capra series continues with The Younger Generation and Forbidden (both on 35mm, repeating Friday), and Ukrainian director Sergei begins his week-long residency at BAMPFA with a screening of The Invasion, his latest film, about the lives of Ukrainian civilians during the Russian invasion.

Friday, Noir City presents The Woman in the Window and Murder, My Sweet at the Grand Lake, Loznitsa returns to present Babi Yar. Context and Leila Weefure's modern Western series continues with The Hateful Eight, a new restoration of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg opens, The Girl with the Needle continues, and In the Mood for Love (repeats Saturday) screens at the Roxie, Se7en is at the Drafthouse, No Country for Old Men is at the Balboa, Lawrence of Arabia is at the 4 Star, and The Last Waltz is at the Lark.

Saturday, the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum has a sneak preview of a new restoration of Lewis Milestone's The New Klondike, with Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra leader Rodney Sauer and American Zoetrope archivist and restoration supervisor James Mockoski in person, David Lynch's Dune and Blue Velvet (on 35mm) are at the Balboa, Mulholland Drive (repeats Sunday) is at the Lark, Loznitsa returns to BAMPFA to present two archival documentaries, The Natural History of Destruction and State Funeral, Mary Heilmann: Waves, Roads, & Hallucinations is at the Roxie, The Secret Garden is at the Lark, the Rialtos Cerrito and Elmwood have free family matinees of The Iron Giant, Noir City at the Grand Lake has two double features, first a matinee of Caged and Tomorrow is Another Day (both on 35mm), and an evening show of Cry Danger (on 35mm) and Inferno (in 3D), the Stanford's weekend Capra double feature is Mr. Deeds Goes to Town and, our featured screening this week, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (both on 35mm, repeating Sunday), and Mulholland Drive and Wild at Heart (both repeating Sunday) are at the 4 Star, where this week's Popcorn Palace selection is Wall-E and director Eva Aridjis Fuentes presents her new doc, Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus.
